Student of The Month: Andres Carrillo

Andres Carrillo is Oroville Adult Education's newest US Citizen. He has been a Citizenship student at OAE with instructor, Mr. Chue. The staff and students of OAE congratulate Mr. Carrillo!

We asked Mr. Carrillo a few questions about himself.

Tell us about your family. I have a wife, Maria and four children, Mariana 8, Esteban 6, Gabriel 3, and little Alondra 7 weeks old.

Where were you born and raised? In Mexico, Jalisco State, Guadalajara City.

Where did you attend school? At Guadalajara High School

What do you like to do in your spare time? Spending time with my family.

What life goals are most important to you? I have already reached one of my goals-Citizenship in the United States. My other goal is to continue learning.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? To Mexico to visit my mother and bothers.

What hobbies or interests do you have? Sports.

Favorite music? I like all music.

Describe your perfect meal. A good home-cooked meal - Mexican food.
